The Best Cookbook of 2011
Seasons - the best of Donna Hay Magazine gets my vote for the best cookbook of 2011. I first spotted it while browsing in Anthropologie a few weeks ago and as I flipped through the pages, I was immediately impressed by the photography. Each photo perfectly corresponds with a seasonal recipe and beautifully depicts human nature and the art of living. The book is organized by season so instead of rifling through hundreds of pages to find a recipe, you simply flip to one of the four chapters and select from an abundance the season's cravings. Better still, the ingredients are minimal and the preparation is simple so even the most novice chefs can try their hand at any or all of them. I highly recommend the book - it would make a lovely Holiday gift as well.

Sarah
